THE SANCTUARY RESPITE CENTRE

The Sanctuary Respite Centre offers short stay breaks for carers and their families who are affected by mental illness.These families carry huge burdens, which are often unacknowledged and unsupported. They suffer economic and personal losses as well as negative impacts on their physical and mental health over many years.  The stigma attached to mental illness amplifies this burden. Myself and many of my generous suppliers, including Mondo Luce, Designer Rugs, Matt Blatt and Daniel Bibic Electrical donated their time and products to refresh the living spaces of these cottages which we hope will lift the spirits of the wonderful families who enjoy them.
